As teenagers we all loved to flick through a magazine and fondly remember the silly quizzes, heart throb posters and sense of girlhood we had back then. Now everything has been digitized, and those teenagers have become adults.

 

We aim for that nostalgic girlhood feeling because after all it’s not just a man’s world. 

Sex, power and the male gaze​

The oversexualization of women in media is not a new phenomenon. It has long been embedded in film, advertising, television and now even social media is riddled with it. Female characters are framed more as bodies to visually consume and less as fully realized people with nuance and agency.
